Endocrine

Endocrine surgery involves operations on glands that produce hormones, such as the thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal glands. Disorders in these glands can cause symptoms like weight changes, palpitations, fatigue, high blood pressure, or changes in calcium levels.
When medication or observation are not enough, surgery may be recommended to remove part or all of the affected gland. Today, many endocrine procedures use precise techniques and careful nerve preserving approaches to protect important structures and maintain normal function as much as possible.
A detailed evaluation, which may include blood tests, imaging, and sometimes needle biopsy, helps determine whether surgery is needed and which technique is most appropriate. The goal is to restore balance to the body’s hormone levels, relieve symptoms, and prevent long term complications.
